carousei. is operated by whishtock llc. We provide an AI-powered carousel generator at carousei.com that helps creators produce Instagram and LinkedIn carousel posts. For privacy questions, contact us at [CONTACT_EMAIL].
2. What We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Your name, email address, and any profile details you provide when signing up or updating your settings, such as a display name, handle, or profile picture.
- Content you create. The topics, URLs, or document text you submit, along with the carousel copy and slide images generated from them.
- Usage data. Which features you use, how many carousels you generate each month, and your active plan tier.
- Billing information. Your subscription status, plan, and billing email. We do not store your card number. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically through server logs and our hosting provider, Vercel.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and maintain your account,
- generate carousel copy by sending your topic text or source content to Anthropic's AI API,
- track your monthly carousel usage against your plan limit,
- process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe,
- send transactional emails such as receipts, billing notices, and account alerts,
- diagnose errors and improve the service,
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your content to train AI models.
4. Third Parties and Subprocessors
We share data with the following subprocessors to operate carousei. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies solely to maintain your authenticated session. Session cookies are set by Clerk and are necessary for the service to function. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
6. Data Retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Carousel and slide data are retained so you can access your history while your account exists.
If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and carousel content within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- correct inaccurate data,
- request deletion of your data and account,
